POSITION OUTCOMES/DELIVERABLES:
• Business partner relationship developed through understanding of business system issue needs.
• Accurately developed documentation, problem determination and “bug” fixes for business system applications.
• Timely and accurate resolution of application technical issues with positive end-user outcomes.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Project Support
• Gather business requirements and apply tactical business direction.
• Document business use case scenarios and partner with IT functional leads to write thorough test scripts.
• Execute test scripts, validate reporting, and partner with technical team to manage through defects to ensure successful test results.
• Work with users to define and implement enhancements.
• Coordinate user acceptance testing as required for systems implementations or enhancements to ensure user acceptance.
• Support pre-implementation activities such as cutover execution, data validation, system set-up, end-user training, and provide post implementation “hypercare” support for users.

Support of Users
• Serve as IT liaison to business super users and SMEs.
• Understands current business application processes, usage, and operations.
• Provide direction to business customers in identifying and fulfilling their informational needs.
• Develop process and documentation for familiarizing new users with specific business rules and how they relate to systems usage.
• Provide on-going training for users related to new system implementations.

Problem Determination/Fixes/Documentation
• Provide support and trouble-shooting service for all end-users of business system applications.
• Defines and documents “bug” fixes for business system applications.

Quality Assurance
• Serve as quality assurance resource for the daily operation of business system applications.
• Defines and documents “bug” fixes for business system applications.

Experience Required or Preferred:
• Minimum 5-7 years progressively responsible business experience that includes systems exposure such as systems trainer, user representative on system project or demonstrated strong end-user aptitude required.
• Previous retail merchandise system and application support experience required.
• Ability to manage small to medium projects as needed.

Skills Required or Preferred:
• Excellent oral and written communication skills along with analytical and interpretative skills are a must. Ability to function independently.
• Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills required.
• Ability to multi-task, understand “linkages” in processes and document or flow chart business processes required.
• Analytical skills, solid general business acumen and detail-oriented are also required
• Exposure to multiple retail models.
• Experience with IT project management/system implementations

Benefits

Contract W2. Hourly rate 45-55$/hr
